Health Insurance

Frequently Asked

Do I only have the "open enrollment" time period to be able to set up private insurance?

No; that is only for ACA/Obamacare and government plans. Private insurance is available year-round.

Is private insurance expensive?

For moderately healthy individuals, not only does private insurance cost less than public plans, but they also have far more coverage. From personal experience, I switched to private and saved over $1400 a year! I have helped hundreds of families, individuals, and businesses do the same.

What if I have an issue with my insurance plan?

After your policy is approved, I remain your personal adviser and will do all of the leg-work for you in the rare instance that an issue arises. I'm also available to address any of your questions or concerns. Reach me instantly via call, text, face to face Zoom meetings, or in person at my office.

Are these year long contracts?

There is no required length of time. You have total control of every aspect in your plan and can cancel at any time.

Will these plans cover me anywhere I go?

Yes! Nationwide coverage during all work or personal travel. These are PPO plans, so you aren't limited to coverage in your zipcode/county like many plans and can use any healthare provider you prefer.

What is the fee for your services?

No fee; it is my pleasure to assist you in any way possible.

What are insurance prices based on?

Public Marketplace (ACA/Obamacare plans) are based on income and age, whereas private plans are based on health (this is why you're able to save a lot of money).

What are the biggest differences between ACA/Obamacare, Employer plans, and Private insurance?

ACA/Obamacare is major medical coverage that you cannot be denied for due to any pre-existing conditions. It is affordable if you get a government subsidy on the monthly premiums (you must have a low income to qualify for a subsidy). If your annual income is greater than $50,000, it is much more expensive than the private plans we offer.

Some employer plans can be beneficial for the employee themselves, but what they offer and how much they cover greatly varies. Additionally, the minute you add a spouse or child to the plan, your premium skyrockets. This is due to employers giving benefits solely to their employees while the family gains no cost reduction when added onto the plan. For this reason, we also offer employer-split coverage, which allows the rest of your family to gain immense cost reductions.

Private insurance is health-based. This is what allows our plans to cost much less while covering you for a lot more (the company is at lower risk of larger claims with healthy people). There is a quick application process to qualify your health to gain these preferred rates. In the event you do not qualify based off of health, we will still find the best health coverage options for you on the public marketplace!

Do you have other insurance plans as well?

I have Medical/Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Supplemental, Critical Illness, Income Protection (aka Short term disability) and access to anything else not listed here, so feel free to reach out with any questions!
